"Grateful for God's forgiving love, in which we live and by which we are judged, and affirming our belief in the inestimable worth of each individual, we renew our commitment to become faithful witnesses to the gospel, not alone to the ends of earth, but also to the depths of our common life and work.

By taking time to become better informed, to write a letter, to send an e-mail, or to tell a friend, you can put your social conscience to work, showing your love for your neighbors and your stewardship for the world God has given to you.
On this web page we connect with well organized social advocacy programs of various religious bodies. Look at the issues. You'll be enlightened. And its a fairly easy and productive way of putting your time and talent to work.

When I went out to the gate of the city, when I took my seat in the square . . . I was eyes to the blind, and feet to the lame. I was a father to the needy, and I championed the cause of the stranger.

Our
Saviour Switches to Green Power
The Executive Committee of
the Church of Our Saviour has switched its facilities to
"green" power service -- electricity produced by solar,
wind, or water power rather than coal and nuclear
generators. So when you switch on lights or the air
conditioner at our church, imagine the air growing purer.
Stewardship is your life decisions. Find more about
switching to green energy on our Church's "energy" page.

Our
Saviour Changes to Fluorescent
You're seeing
new
light in our church. We
have converted to energy saving fluorescent lighting. In
all, 76 lights were changed. Each and every bulb uses
one-fourth the energy of the incandescent light that it
replace. Replacing a 60 watt incandescent bulb with a CFL is
estimated to eliminate over 600 pounds of greenhouse gas
emissions during its lifetime and save $45 in energy
costs.
Episcopal
Church Peace and Justice Ministries
This office equips
Episcopalians to carry out the promise made in their
Baptismal Covenant to "strive for peace and justice and
respect the dignity of every human being." The programs seek
to support justice ministries at the local level by
supporting networks -- domestic and international, by
providing resources, by sustaining committees and networks,
and by advocating the social policies of the church to
government.
